Wig Care

๐Ÿšซ AVOID:

Heat (blow dryers, curling irons, straighteners).

Regular hair products (they can break down the fibers).

Sleeping, swimming, or showering with the wig on.

Brushing when wet โ€” always wait until it's fully dry.

๐Ÿงผ 1. WASHING YOUR WIG

How often?

Every 2 weeks, or sooner if it feels sticky, dull, or has product buildup.

Steps:

  1. Detangle with a wide-tooth comb or your fingers, starting from the ends and working up.

  2. Fill a sink or basin with cool water (not hot โ€” heat can damage synthetic fibers).

  3. Add a capful of synthetic wig shampoo, mix gently.

  4. Submerge the wig and gently swish it for 1โ€“2 minutes.

  5. Rinse thoroughly with cool water.

  6. Apply synthetic wig conditioner (optional), then rinse again.

๐Ÿ’จ 2. DRYING YOUR WIG

  • Gently blot with a towel.

  • Place it on a wig stand, door knob, faucet or tall object (like a can or bottle) to air dry completely.

DO NOT use a hairdryer or expose it to heat.

๐Ÿ’‡โ€โ™€๏ธ 3. STYLING TIP

No heat tools (unless your wig is labeled heat-friendly).

Use wig-safe styling products only โ€” regular hairspray can damage fibers.

Use fingers or a wig brush made for synthetic hair to style gently.

๐Ÿงข 4. STORING YOUR WIG

Store on a wig stand to keep its shape.

Keep it in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.

Use a satin or silk bag for travel to prevent tangling.
